Sands Care began in the dining room of the founders' house in April of 1997. He and his wife started with three clients and a hope and a prayer. It took nine months to get a home health license from the State of Texas and a few more years to move the business to our main office on Hillside Road in Laredo. The Carrizo Springs office took a few more years.

Today we have hundreds of clients in eight counties and hope for more growth. That growth is dependent on the excellent service we provide our clients and the continued hard work of our attendants and staff. The most important person in our organization is the person who provides the hands-on service to our clients. Our attendants are caring individuals who give the client their best. We provide bathing, dressing, grooming, meal preparation, and many other services to enhance the quality of our client's lives.
