WHAT IS CBA?
A Community Based Alternative (CBA) program is a medicaid funded program which helps keep your loved ones our of the nursing home. This program is much like Primary Home Care, but is designed for clients who would otherwise be in a nursing home. This program pays for all medications, medical supplies, such as, diapers, wipes, underpads, wheelchairs, hospital beds, walkers, shower seats, and minor home modifications (bathroom and wheelchair ramps) to Americans with Disability Act (ADA) standards.
